Meet the Miss Cebu 2015 Candidates


Candidates for Miss Cebu 2015 are officially announced earlier today in the Miss Cebu Facebook account.

Miss Cebu 2015 pageant is one of the highlights in the Sinulog 2015 Celebration. To know other events for the Sinulog Festival, check out the Sinulog Festival schedule here.

The Pre-Pageant Night will be on January 10, 2015, Saturday, 7 pm, at the Ayala Activity Center. The Coronation Night of Miss Cebu 2015 will be on January 14, 2015, Wednesday, 6:30 pm, at the Pacific Grand Ballroom, Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino.

Candidate No. 1: Hanica Rachel Arshia J. Ong

She is from Mandaue City and currently taking up Law at the University of San Carlos.


Candidate No. 2: Febb C. Flores

She is from Talisay City and is a Nursing graduate from Cebu Velez College. Currently, she works in Cebu Velez General Hospital as an OR Staff Nurse.


Candidate No. 3: Mary Cyrielle A. Wong

She is from Minglanilla, Cebu and is a Nursing graduate of Cebu Normal University. Currently, she works at Convergys Philippines.


Candidate No. 4: Aivy Mae R. Castro

She is from Bantayan, Cebu and currently studying BSBA-Management Accounting at University of Cebu. 



Candidate No. 5: Katherine D. Jumapao

She is from Lapulapu City and currently the Property Specialist at Ayala Land Sales, Inc.



Candidate No. 6: Rio Liza M. Vestil

She is from Consolacion, Cebu and currently taking up BS Accountancy at the University of San Carlos.


Candidate No. 7: Lucena Rose M. Magdadaro

She is from Talamban, Cebu City and is a Nursing graduate of Cebu Velez College.


Candidate No. 8: Catherine E. Mier

She is from Argao, Cebu and is a graduate of University of San Carlos - TC. She works at Dranix Distribution P&G Division.


Candidate No. 9: Rosalyn P. Clavano

She is from Dumanjug, Cebu and is a Nursing graduate of University of San Carlos. Currently, she is the Manager of Intellicare Asalus Corp.


Candidate No. 10: Ma. Genefe B. Navilon

She is from Lahug, Cebu and is a Mass Communication graduate of University of San Carlos. She works as a model under WAFER Models Phils.


Candidate No. 11: Domenic L. Reynes

She is from Punta Princesa, Cebu City and is an Architecture graduate of University of San Carlos.


Candidate No. 12: Wynonah Van Joy Buot

She is from Busay, Cebu and is a Mass Communication graduate of the University of the Philippines Cebu.

Piolo, Enchong to represent Sun Life in Cebu Ironman 70.3

The Sun Life Financial Triathlon Team will be marking its 5th year by participating in Ironman 70.3 in Cebu on August 5 by fielding a total of 13 racers in the prestigious competition, led by brand ambassador Piolo Pascual, actor Enchong Dee, and its very own executives.   Piolo, who will bike for one of the relay teams, will once again team up with Enchong (swim) and his longtime friend, Tonie Ty (run). Sun Life Chief Investments Officer Michael Enriquez will also see action on the bike, alongside Sun Life Business Development Manager for Partnership Distribution Toots Malapad and Sun Life Sales Training & Development Head Ged Custodia.
