Sikat Places in Cebu Nga Dunay Forever

FOREVER. Where to next? (c) @collinz88

The search for forever is on!

Let us tell all the advocates of #WalangForever that forever can be found in Cebu. The Queen City of the South is not only popular as a tourist destination but also a home of things forever.

10. UP Cebu. Forever ang internet.

If you’re a student of UP Cebu, don’t mind connecting to the wifi of the university. Either it will take forever for you to connect or if you successfully passed the first test, forever man sad ang pag-load sa mga website.

9. Ayala ug SM. Forever ang linya sa taxi.

If you don’t have a smartphone, taking the taxi especially on a Friday night will be forever. Tip: download a booking app like GrabTaxi or Cebuano-owned startup called miCab. Welcome to team #WalangForever.

8. Casa Verde sa IT Park. Forever ang kagutom kon Friday.

Have you been craving for pork ribs on a Friday night? Don’t plan to go Casa Verde in IT Park if you want to avoid the long queues. Try their main branch in Ramos. It’s just some corners across Velez College.

7. SM Cinema. Forever ang linya sa first day sa showing sa blockbuster film.

If you’re catching up a blockbuster film last minute showing, you better not take the long queues. How? Get an SM E-Plus Card so you can take the priority lane.

6. BDO. Forever ang linya kon petsa kinse.

Go to a nearby BDO just right after regular working hours and you’ll see what I mean.

5. SM Terminal. Forever ang linya sa V-Hire padung Lapulapu.

Based from my friends’ update on social media, taking the V-Hire on a Friday night is just a hassle. Most of them have no choice since they couldn’t afford taking the taxi (plus traffic is another forever to survive).

4. Colon. Forever ang baha kon mag-uwan.

If it’s raining, try to avoid Colon as much as possible. It’s not a good place to stay if flood starts to fill the streets due the clogged drainage system.

3. Talamban. Forever ang traffic.

If you’re living or working in Talamban, getting in and out of the vicinity might take you forever if you commute, most especially during peak hours (8:00-9:30AM and 4:30-7:30PM).

2. Mandaue. Forever ang traffic ug ang baha.

What if the #iamMandaue tourist campaign could have been #MoveMandaue? It would have been more popular online.

1. Sa imong heart. Forever na kong naghuwat diri.

Kanus-a pa man ka ma-single? Hahahahasula aning kahimtanga.

#UPCebuAfterSunset compiles ghost stories from UP Cebu

Ghost hunting, horror stories, paranormal activities… you can visit UP Cebu to experience these out-of-this-world events. Yes, University of the Philippines Cebu is one of the spooky places in Cebu where there are spiritual sightings. I have compiled several ghost sightings in the campus as determined by some of the students I’ve talked to and conversations heard and read here and there, some of which are edited version of confessions from “ Speak UP, Iskolar ” published late last year. Believe it or not, according to them, these stories are true and they can attest to the veracity of these experiences. I have categorized these stories according to the places these ghost stories happened. If you have additional stories you experienced, feel free to share those to us by sending it here . ADMIN CR (1) “Kuyog ko sa akong friend adto then nisulod siya sa Admin CR.  Manudlay usa daw siya before mi manulod sa among klase. Nahibu’ng ko kay nikalit na siyag siyagit.

Dear Millennials, Let's Use Technology To Save Our Future

Dear Fellow Millennials, We are lucky to live in this time when digital and technology are shaping our lives. From sending snail mails that take weeks or months to arrive, it now takes less than a second to send a message online. From searching through the alleys of the library, it only takes a button to do a research on any topic imaginable. We are the generation that experienced the advent of technology as we moved up in the ladder of the educational system. Some of us already had mobile phones when we were in elementary. We learned to embrace social media and smartphones later on. This generation is the living witness of how awesome Nokia 3310 was! We had also seen the rise of iPhone's popularity. Google and Facebook have become the two websites we use almost every day, right? We are the generation that made traveling fun and proved to everyone that we can do it even on a budget! We are travel superheroes, thanks to bloggers who made it easy for us. We made selfies t
