30 Day Blogging Challenge: 'I Want To Give Up'

30 Day Blogging Challenge: 'I Want to Give Up'

Today, I just want to give up. I topped the past 13 days but moving forward, I just don’t want to do it.

If you feel that this blogging challenge is more of a baggage rather than rewarding, reconsider taking this challenge.

The 30 Day Blogging Challenge is definitely for those bloggers who want to improve their blogging skills. It is not for the faint of heart.

If you feel like giving up, but you still feel challenged to finish the entire 30 days, here are some motivational tips that you can consider:

1. See the big picture and the look back to the reason why you took the challenge.

During this moment, it’s best to check the reasons why you decided to take this 30 Day Blogging Challenge.

2. Build anticipation for the next day’s challenge. Get excited to write something new!

Writing shouldn’t be boring and dull. Consider it as a mental exercise that will keep your brain’s neurons active and working. Isn’t it fun to connect words and translate your thoughts into a blog post that others will appreciate?

3. Commit publicly. Bank on that commitment.

Since I started this 30 Day Blogging Challenge, all my friends online knew that I’m doing this. Now, that they know if I fail miserably, I cannot just fail without giving a good try. Make that as your motivation. Allow others to see how you succeed rather than make them remember that you fail on this challenge. Wouldn’t this be a great motivation?

4. Get support from friends and fellow bloggers. Work as a team.

The best way to do a 30 Day Blogging Challenge is not to do it alone. It will become boring and tiresome along the way but if you’re writing with a team of fellow bloggers, you’ll enjoy the hang of it! You can consider joining Cebu Blogging Community and participating on this challenge would surely be fun!

5. Write something you love and enjoy!

Most of all, choose a topic that you enjoy writing. Don’t go into subjects you don’t like. Writing blog posts you don’t like will give you a negative aura but choosing to write something you love will surely be fun and interesting!

I hope these motivational tips will encourage you to keep going. Count how many days left and celebrate that you’ve made it this far. If you’re in the mood now, write as much as you can.

Do you still want to give up? Think again. I know you can finish this 30 Day Blogging Challenge. You can do it, fellow blogger!
