Yes, Chef on Demand is not a restaurant; thus, it has no physical store location. Its vision is to bring good food to the working class who are looking for something more than the simplicity of fast food.

Chef on Demand originally started as the “Awesome Foodie Delivery” service in Cebu IT Park before expanding to Cebu Business Park and their legions of hungry workers.

New customers who want to avail of the service may go to their website. Ordering can be as easy as “order-wait-pay.” (1) Order your food from the website’s menu, (2) Wait for your food to arrive (which takes places within 20 minutes), and (3) Pay your food upon arrival.

2. Chef on Demand partners with chefs to get 100% quality food.

Unlike fast food chains, chefs are trained in the process of creating varied, gourmet meals that are properly seasoned as well as prepared. And they come in different ranges of flavours.

As of this writing, Chef on Demand is serving Mexican, Japanese and Singaporean cuisines to its customers. Their chef partners include Chef Dennis Uy of Meximama, Chef Edgar Bulanon of Nonki, and Chef Vance Borja of Chop Chop Food Centre.

Chef on Demand is working on expanding its menu so their customers may choose from as many types of cuisines as possible.

3. Orders open at 10:30AM-1PM and 10:30PM-1AM on weekdays.

One of the things every new customer should know is that Chef on Demand only accepts orders from 10:30AM-1PM and 10:30PM-1AM or until supplies last.

Chef on Demand’s menu usually takes less than 30 minutes to be sold out. Customers need to learn the 10:30AM/PM habit to successfully place an order before it runs out of meals.

4. Discounts and freebies are given to their loyal #HappyFoodies.

5. After a month since its official launching, Chef on Demand is already an award-winning startup.

The founders behind Chef on Demand are Bryan Yap, Jed Hatamosa, and Francis Menguito. They work with a team of young individuals whose goal are to make sure that good food is delivered to the right people and that they enjoy everything along the way.

#UPCebuAfterSunset compiles ghost stories from UP Cebu

Ghost hunting, horror stories, paranormal activities… you can visit UP Cebu to experience these out-of-this-world events. Yes, University of the Philippines Cebu is one of the spooky places in Cebu where there are spiritual sightings. I have compiled several ghost sightings in the campus as determined by some of the students I’ve talked to and conversations heard and read here and there, some of which are edited version of confessions from “ Speak UP, Iskolar ” published late last year. Believe it or not, according to them, these stories are true and they can attest to the veracity of these experiences. I have categorized these stories according to the places these ghost stories happened. If you have additional stories you experienced, feel free to share those to us by sending it here . The Curious Case of Sirao Flower Farm in Cebu

I first heard of Sirao Flower Farm in Sirao Peak, Cebu City when I was riding a taxi. Little did I know that Sirao Flower Farm (aka Mini Amsterdam in Cebu) is a trending topic in social media.  For sure, everyone who have heard about the beautiful celosia flowers in Sirao Peak will surely search on how to go there and take a selfie. For only P20.00, you will be able to take a picture that you can post in your Instagram and share it on Facebook. For P100.00, you can take a video and upload it online. Add popular hashtag like #SiraoFlowerFarm, #SiraoPeak, #MiniAmsterdam, and #MiniAmsterdaminCebu to increase visibility and engagement. NOT JUST SELFIES On the other hand, here’s the sad reality: the celosias aren’t treated properly. People are not just simply taking pictures but ruining the beautiful celosias in Sirao Flower Farm. With hundreds of Cebuanos flocking to Sirao every day, I cannot help but feel sad about the status of the celosias and how they are treated by
